After a series of meetings and arguments with Presidential agents at Bomas yesterday, International observers, etc, some interesting things to note;
1. UDA agents wanted IEBC to give their final tallies based on the summaries of Forms 34A and 34Bs (submitted or derived from associated 34A's) as per the portal submissions yesterday. This position was flatly rejected by the Azimio team as well as International observers. This was informed by the realisation that some forms had been changed. In some cases, two sets of results were in the system for the same polling centres.
2. It was strangely noted that one common handwriting was used to fill details in all Forms 34A in one constituency in Baringo county, 3 different pens were used in this case. Same case for Kiambaa in Kiambu. This means that the Forms were filled from one place ahead of elections and merely delivered to the different polling locations to be fed in the Kits at the close of polls without regard to the true turn outs as captured and relayed by the kits to the central server. This issue was highlighted to Chebukati and he was asked to make the call.
3(a). After the 1st round of poll fraud, UDA team must have realised that they were still trailing. The 10% inflation in Bungoma, 15% in Central, 10% in the larger RV has easily been proven from the distorted Kiems Kit returns of voter turn out Vs the turn outs implied in the Forms 34A that were uploaded in the IEBC portal. The realisation that the numbers weren't good enough must have prompted the second wave of fraud. The second wave of fraud included:
i) Replacement of Forms 34A to try and "raise" some more votes to UDA presidential candidate.
ii) Populating the media houses' tallies to show that the UDA candidate had won and then demand that IEBC declare him as having been validly elected, no matter the truth.
3(b). Some teams at Bomas have flagged the huge variation in the turn outs between Forms 34A's data and Kiems Kit data summaries.
Examples.
i) In Kiambu County. Kiems kits relayed a turn out tally of 645K voters. The data from Forms 34A's have an increase of 177K voters to 822,609. The 177K voters can't be explained yet "their votes" were counted.
ii) Nakuru County data shows a 200K variation in the number of voters. Kiems kits never captured these 200K voters, yet the Forms 34A's submitted their vote.
An audit in other RV and Central Kenya counties show this glaring pattern.
IEBC and agents have not yet agreed on what to do with these "ghost" voters delivered by the Forms 34A's but NEVER identified by Kiems kits.
4. Close to 900K voters in Central Kenya voted for the President and never bothered to vote for say the Women Reps!
As a Citizen of Kenya, I wish to live in a country where my vote counts. Fraudsters shouldn't have a place in the manipulation of the civic duty of identifying local and national leaders. Manipulators of poll outcomes must be arrested and charged.
Poll fraud must be treated as a capital offence going forward. This will help enforce some level of discipline and honesty.
