The most recent preliminary presidential election results reveal how many votes Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Waihige Mwaure, and George Wajackoya received in Kilifi county’s Ganze constituency.
One of the counties that Raila Odinga, the leader of the opposition, has long controlled is Kilifi. However, in recent months, Dr. William Ruto, the deputy president, has been visiting the county through Kilifi governor Amazon Kingi in an effort to win over more voters.
The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is in the lead with 30,422 votes, according to the most recent validated presidential results from Ganze, while Dr. William Ruto is trailing him with 6,985 ballots, according to a messy vote tallying process at the Bonas of Kenya.
With 383 votes, George Wajackoya is in third place, and David Mwaure is in fourth with 194 votes. The Ganze constituency has 67,257 registered voters, 37,984 legal votes have been cast, and 414 of those votes have been disqualified
