Details Of A 3 -Hour Meeting Between Chebukati And Raila,Ruto Officials Ahead Of Final Results Revealed

Details of a nighttime meeting between the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Wafula Chebukati, and representatives of the UDA and Azimio parties have come to light as the national presidential vote count nears its conclusion.

The meeting, which lasted more than three hours, was held on August 14th, Sunday night, under the direction of the elections board chairman. All of the commissioners, party agents, and secretaries in charge of the Bomas exercise were in attendance.

The primary topic of discussion at the conference was the continued disorder and jeering at the tallying center. As the drill neared its conclusion, Chebukati advised head agents to advise his colleagues to maintain decorum and silence.

Additionally, Chebukati warned the agents that if any of their members disrupt the ongoing exercise in any way, including by making noise or yelling, they will be kicked out of the tallying facility.

Hours prior to the meeting, IEBC officials got into an argument with a number of Azimio camp leaders.
