Suluhu being escorted by the female bodyguards
elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans.
Some said the ladies could not offer maximum security to the leader, while others maintained that she empowered women by having female bodyguards.
“I do not want to imagine seeing a man being handled properly by a woman. Indeed what a man can do a woman can do better,” one netizen wrote.
“In Kenya, even those feminists will never have females as their bodyguards. We have a problem in this country,” another wrote.
