Messi, a well known student at the Kitale Polytechnic is forseen as the Next President. After a pre election straw poll by our research team he came out to be the most preffered candidate.

He also shocked the students by  how he uses the strategy of direct address plus blogging to gain supporters unlike his opponent who has only employed online blogging. Having mass popularity among the student is one thing that gives him more advantage. 
He is a silent and an intelligent guy who is believed to be the solution finder for the comrades. 

Messi says he wants to build on comrades ideas and take KNP to the next level of development and academic achievement. There is good reason why Messi is confident he will succeed in turning around KNP. 
He promises to enable empowerment to the talented by doing away with the cultural day and introducing Cultural week. The latter has a vision of enhancing the education by using the connection he has to deliver to the lads and ladies of Kitale National Politechnic free bursary. His easy demeanour has endeared him to many who were previously opposed to his leadership. Some of the unacknowledged attributes of Messi's leadership style can be traced back to his journey to become president, how he(a first year at that time) contest against an old boy in the college and became the second position.That way it is easier to understand why he will achieved so much in so short a time and also indicate the direction he is likely to take in shaping KNP this year.
